The programme was held at Bwari market on the 19th of November, 2021 to commemorate World Toilet Day. The theme was “Valuing Toilets; Who Cares about Toilets?” and it had men and women from Bwari Market in attendance. Through a Social and Behavioral Change (SBC) campaign, its goal was to remind our target population that “ensuring clean and safe environment with access to portable water, basic toilets, and good hygiene practices will keep families thriving and avail them the opportunity of enjoying healthier and happier lives”.This programme commenced at about 12:00pm and ended at 1:30pm, in collaboration with Independence Television (ITV) and (SATO). Engr. Musa Ayanwola, a water engineer, and Mrs. Achimugu, a legal practitioner and social worker facilitated the programme. More than 60 people were present.
In organizing this programme, IMSA received support from the Nigeria Bottling Company Plc., Top Water Engineering Services Ltd. and Tinaspa Resources Ltd.
